The internationally recognised certification scheme enables the tracking of timber from forest, through production, to end-use. "The accreditation provides our customers with the security that timber used in Rixonway kitchens originates from well-managed forests and is not mixed with products from uncertified sources," says Rixonway operations director Nick Greenhall.
"It also demonstrates our commitment to environmental issues and is in line with our policy on corporate social responsibility and ethical purchasing."
With more than 25 years' experience of supplying solutions to social housing and the public sector, Rixonway is the only UK kitchen manufacturer dedicated to community regeneration.

Ben Miller and Alexander Armstrong have reunited after five years, with Miller perhaps best known for recent TV outing The Worst Week Of My Life and Armstrong for Life Begins, along with various Pimm's TV commercials. Jeremy Dyson (of The League Of Gentlemen fame) has co-written the scripts for the new series.
Hat Trick Productions was set up by Jimmy Mulville, Rory McGrath and Denise O'Donoghue in a small office near London's Oxford Street in 1986. The company is now one of the leading names in British TV comedy, having been responsible for Have I Got News For You, Father Ted, The Kumars At No. 42, Drop The Dead Donkey and Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Characters in the new show include retired Essex gangster and self-appointed guardian of public decency, Mr Foley, and Tony and Dimitri, a Kevin Keegan-esque football manager and his Russian oligarch boss. Armstrong and Miller's previous series was a hit when it was first shown on Channel 4 in 1998.
