Imagine Publishing Limited ("Imagine") has acquired specialist car magazine Total 911 and its website www.total911.com from 9Publishing for an undisclosed sum.
Total 911 is the only magazine dedicated to the iconic Porsche 911 car which is the flagship of the Porsche range. The monthly magazine celebrates the status, history and performance of Porsche’s most enduring model, with lavish well-photographed features, regular columns, buyers’ guides and road tests.

The management team is constantly looking at new markets which will allow it to develop the portfolio of magazines and websites.”

In 2006 August Equity managed funds provided £7 million of expansion capital to enable Imagine to acquire a portfolio of magazine titles from Highbury Entertainment Limited. Imagine is one of the UK’s fastest growing consumer specialist publishers. It now publishes 20 magazines and 23 websites in the videogames, computing, entertainment and photography markets.
