August Equity LLP (“August Equity”) has strengthened its investment team with the appointment of Rob Simpson. Rob will manage the firm’s origination and business development activity. This follows the appointment of Anthony Bellau, Investment Manager, earlier this year.
Rob joins August Equity from Sovereign Capital where he was responsible for researching and sourcing investments in the healthcare and business services sectors. Prior to that he was research manager at the Sunday Times Fast Track and worked in the strategy department at the Financial Times Group.

August Equity has recently announced the investment in Advanced Vetcare-Rowe and the exit of Planit Holdings, as well as a host of bolt-on acquisitions for its investee companies including Funeral Services Partnership, Lifeways Community Care and Enara Group.
