August Equity LLP (“August Equity”) is proud to announce that it has been named Investors of the Year at the HealthInvestor Awards 2010. August Equity also won the award in 2008 and received a commendation in 2009.
The awards were established to recognise outstanding achievements in healthcare. The healthcare team, comprising Philip Rattle and Aatif Hassan, was chosen above strong competition in the category.
The award is a reflection of the team’s high level of investment activity as well as the developments across its portfolio companies. Recent investments include Active Assistance, Funeral Services Partnership, two bolt-on acquisitions for Lifeways Community Care (“Lifeways”) and 23 bolt-on acquisitions for Enara Group. Lifeways was also awarded the Specialist Care Provider of the Year at the ceremony.
