August Equity LLP (“August Equity”) is pleased to announce that Aatif Hassan, partner, has won three awards in as many weeks.
Aatif was named the Most Influential Investor of the Year at the HealthInvestor Power Fifty Awards 2011. He was commended for his “incredible drive and work ethic, which has yielded an unbelievable volume of transactions.”
The HealthInvestor Power Fifty Awards were established to recognise those in the industry that exert the most influence, command the most respect, and, ultimately, hold the most power in the UK's independent health sector.
Aatif also won The Most Outstanding Strategist in the Over 50’s Market, both globally and in the UK, at the Over 50’s Housing Awards 2011. The awards were established three years ago to reward excellence in the UK Over 50’s housing sector and to recognise the efforts of those who enhance the sector.
In the year to date, August Equity has completed the investment in Advanced Vetcare-Rowe, exited the investment in Planit Holdings and completed over 30 bolt-on acquisitions for its portfolio companies.
