Kleinwort Capital Limited ('KCL') announces the appointment of Sam Watkinson as an Investment Director. Sam will lead investments in MBOs, MBIs, expansion and replacement capital, focusing on deal origination and advisor relationships in the UK's southern regions.
An experienced deal professional, Sam joins from Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity, where he has been an Investment Director since July 2000. He has been responsible for both the deal origination and marketing strategies for their London office and has worked on transactions in the UK lower mid-market. Investment opportunities have included MBOs, MBIs and BIMBOs, as well as development capital, cash outs, turnarounds and portfolio follow-ons.
Previously, Sam has held positions at PwC Private Equity Advisory, NatWest Acquisition Finance and Coopers & Lybrand London.
