Kleinwort Capital Limited ('KCL'), an independent private equity firm investing in the UK lower mid-market, today announced the appointment of Aatif Hassan as Associate. Aatif comes to Kleinwort Capital from Close Brothers Corporate Finance. Previously, he held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Freshgroup.com.
Aatif brings with him a valuable combination of skills and relevant experience, including having acted as a strategic adviser to management and served as lead advisory in high profile mid-market buy-side M&A deals. Additionally, Aatif is experienced in due diligence proceedings, deal origination and financial modelling, having recently brought his skills to bear for companies with complex capital structures.
Aatif has a proven track record building relationships with management and has relevant experience transacting in Kleinwort Capital's four areas of focus: media, technology, healthcare and specialist manufacturing. As such, Aatif's stated interest in healthcare will be of great benefit to the company. Aatif is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Kleinwort Capital is expecting to expand its team further over the next 12 months.
