Rixonway Kitchens is a kitchen manufacturing business with a particular focus on the social housing market. Rixonway was established in 1979 and is located in Dewsbury, near Leeds.
Rixonway has a niche market focus with well invested production facilities and a reputation for providing high levels of customer service. It has excellent growth prospects and is a key supplier to many Local Authorities, purchasing consortia and prime contractors involved in social housing refurbishment in the UK. This is a key aspect of the Government's Decent Homes Initiative ("DHI") which sets targets to refurbish Social Housing stock and communities to a prescribed 'Decent Standard'.
Rixonway launched a revamped website in 2007 which includes an innovative extranet, Rixonway Xnet, to enable contractors to interact more efficiently with Rixonway. It also enables customers to access Xnet to review kitchen designs, client briefs and invoices.
The senior management team is led by Paul Rose, chief executive. August Equity introduced Simon Armstrong as chairman.
