Sam joined August Equity in 2005 and led the investments in Accura Support Services and Planit Holdings. Sam is a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining August Equity, Sam worked at Murray Johnstone Private Equity and was responsible for sourcing and leading transactions from the London office. Sam qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand in London and subsequently joined the Private Equity Advisory Team. He also spent two years on secondment to NatWest Acquisition Finance.
Sam has an honours degree in Geology from Durham University.
