Mike Biddulph, technology partner at August Equity, has participated in an article from AoN and the Financial Times regarding the importance of insurance during a transaction.
Mike’s expertise from Secure Data meant that he was asked for expert insight specifically on the ever-increasing risk of cyber-attacks on transactions.
He highlights the growing trend of specialist cyber due diligence with regards to deals, and not just a subcomponent of wider IT due diligence.
He says: “The human factor is the biggest danger… the individual who doesn’t know the protocols and sets off a chain of events – leading to a potentially cataclysmic loss.”
