3Si was created by August Equity through the strategic acquisition of Ocean Safety, Revere International and Typhoon International. 

We identified an opportunity to consolidate a fragmented market and build a business with international reach, capable of meeting the increasingly complex safety demands of global marine clients.

Over the investment period, 3Si completed four bolt-on acquisitions, broadening its offering and enabling the business to signidicantly expand into the US, enhancing its appeal to strategic buyers. In 2018, the business was exited to Alliance Marine, a French-based marine safety group.
